Everything’s shiny, Cap’n.
// April 30th, 2010 // Australia, Melbourne
A shiny new pen, the one thing that will make even the greatest procrastinator like me sit down and do something productive. Now, assuming that most of my readers are of the observant type, you might have noticed that the site has had a recent face life. Inside you will notice that the media page has been finished. I’ve gone through and tweaked a few knobs and levels to make the viewing experience much more enjoyable and easier for the computer impaired. [Media Page]
So, what’s new with me? Well not much, work and more work. I usually work about 6 days a week (Friday and Saturday nights) and in what little free time I do have I nap and enjoy a good beer. So what’s next? Am I staying in Australia forever? Well, right now I’m in the process of extending my stay in this wonderful country for another 4 years. Sure, the amount of time required for all this is daunting, yeah there is an absurd amount of paper work that needs to have its lower case j’s dotted, but all of this pales in comparison to the most intimidating (and exciting) thing; uncertainty. Yep, that’s right I have no idea what is going to happen. Will I find myself jobless and headed to another country? Sure I’ve been here before, but this time, I’m a traveling lone ranger. *dun dun dun*
Now that I answered the one question I’m sure a few of you may have had (what the hell are you doing?) it’s time for me to move on. Now, as you might have gathered, updates are going to be pretty sparse right now, but I’ll do my best to let you all know how I’m doing. I’ll even try and finish up the ‘Jeff, you’re a moron’ set of stories, while self-deprecating, they’re funny stories nevertheless. Anyways, I see something shiny and feel its distraction too great to keep writing, so with that I bid thee farewell, until next time.
